StarStarStarStarStar Current Technical Analyst in Fairfax, Virginia

Their deductibles are high and then co-pay is also kinda high I think they just don't have the best insurance but they do offer other types of insurance for free like AD&D, dismemberment and all that though I don't know if it's standard for all that to be free

Best thing about the health insurance at CGI was that it covered alot of different conditions

StarStarStarStarStar Current Senior Consultant in Lansing, Michigan

Ridiculously high deductible - no chance to reach it with average annual medical costs. So basically paying $500 month for nothing.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Operations Manager in San Antonio, Texas

    Only offer high deductible plans

  • Aug 16, 2017
StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Washington, District of Columbia

Very expensive high deductible plan is the only option.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Consultant in Cleveland, Ohio

Yes, there is health insurance -- but it's the typical HDHP with HSA that most employers are offering these days. Employer contribution to HSA is $500 per year (~$19 per paycheck) with occasional incentives for taking a survey, participating in a health screening, etc.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Supervisor in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

THe health insurance is basically catastrophic coverage. The deductable is high for a family, the rates are high for management. Constantly looking to cut costs. Eye insurance is poor at best, only places that take it is walmart or Sears, cannot go to my normal eye doctor

StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Birmingham, Alabama

The coverage is not what it should be for the high premiums, not many options as well.

  • Jun 09, 2017
StarStarStarStarStar Current Legal Assistant in Elizabeth, New Jersey

on the high side of costs, but Cigna is good
