Individual insurances are pretty inexpensive (health, vision, dental), however the price for family plans are way too high.
Package is decent the copays are low and the amount you pay each check is low as well. The 401k plan sucks
Health insurance is too high for 2 or more it is 1/2 your pay every 2 weeks. Vacation time inclues sick time and after 3years with company it will not increase.
401 K is 3% max matching and gets vested in 5 years. they provide United Health Care whose prices have gone over the roof in recent years and yes all white management blames it on obamacare. if you are family of four getting insurance expect your entire paycheck to be gone. Also it takes 2 months before your health insurance comes into effect it was not so a year back.
Great time off. They were really flexible. I appreciated the health, dental and vision.
Base salary compared to similar roles was very low.
Very minimal benefits package however it does cover health, vision, and disability at a very low rate.
Health insurance is a good benefit and the co payments are low for just one person but when you add in family, your whole pay check is gone
You get life insurance and a base salary with no chance of negotiating it. They pay you for the extra hours that you put in. You rarely get any time off. You have to ask for days of well in advance.
While the pay was lousy for the amount of work they expect, everything else is great. Full health, dental, vision, 401K, and travel benefit (they will take money out for your travel so it won't be taxed). They also have a life insurance policy, but it is not your and will end with termination (make sure you get yourself a policy and don't rely on the work one). You can accumulate over 3 weeks of paid leave, but once you hit your limit, you will lose time off, so you will need to take time off, even it will impact your work negatively.
