“There are multiple options for plans”
21 days sick, 21 days vacation a year. Very good leave policies!
I am only a part time worker, so there is no real benefits for me personally, but if you work for the city full time it is a lot better.
Medical plans are very expensive compared to private. Single rider you still need to pay a good portion instead of 1.5%.
Good benefit is 21 days of sick leave and vacations. Bad benefit is the medical.
The idea of a pension is wonderful, however the inability to adjust the mandatory amount that is taken out of your pay is a tough pill to swallow when pay already doesn't equate cost of living in the islands. You will wonder how am I making more than a previous private sector job but taking home a good chunk less?
Benefits and 13 holidays are awesome. My 10 years have been most comfortaBLE
No 401k available. High employee contribution premium payment for medical/dental/vision insurance coverages.
21 days vacation, 21 sick leave, 13 days holidays (14 days in election year). Wish Med/Dental/Drug premium could be cheaper.
