No medical insurance, retirement plans, or paid vacation time for PCA’s. Only thing we get is sick time because Massachusetts made it a law. You earn one hour of sick time for every thirty hours worked. However sick time is very difficult to use because of lack of shift coverage if you need to call out.
you need to sign up with the union in order to get the benefits. After you get the job you have to go to orientation and they will tell you about the Union and the benefits.
This would be the most ideal workplace for me . I love the flexibility in my schedule . Although they are getting better , we have no medical benifit
