FMLA is federally protected, so I don't think they get special credit for this one.
Standard leave policy in effect
If you want to not show up for work for years at a time, they will continue paying your salary and not hire a replacement to help your coworkers. Medical and mental health reasons are accepted. If you simply do not want to show up, they won't fire you.
Yes they have this, I have used it, but if you take it your job is in jeopardy, so I always find a doctor to release me as soon as possible so I can go back to work, it is a career death march at CSC
