Great 401k and medical benefit cost less than most companies
No sick leave and standard vacation ( 2 - 3 weeks to start), depending on position.
vacation and sick leave are the same thing. you get 10 days a year, but you have to earn them over time (you cant miss a whole week after being there for a month) . i never ever went on vacation, but i was sick to the point of ER for a week and a half, but because i hadn't worked long enough yet to even earn the 10 days/year, the system for logging hours stopped paying me, even for the days I was there during/after the worst of my medical problem (which i eventually had to fly across the county to see a specialist for because i couldn't get an appointment with a nuerologist for over a month in DC). The thing that pulls at my heart a bit is that two weeks before my migraines with extended auras (2-3 days of no vision to drive, plus sudden verbal/speaking issues where my head just couldn't find the words to say), i missed my closest cousins wedding, because i didnt want to take 2 days off, when i know that i might not earn enough to go to thanksgiving and christmas (meaning fly the days before and after) and alsothe ineveitable winter once a year type terrible cold. So i missed her wedding (she is my age, we live5 min away from each other growing up), and it breaks my heart.
Good company before being acquired.
paid holiday and paid parking in downtown locations
Best thing is the employee discount. Worst thing is health insurance (premiums and deductible) very expensive.
401k match up to 50%, PTO, Health Care plans you cannot beat,
200 hours PTO and additional holidays. Good options for 401K.
Investigators are to receive a $4.27 an hour government stipend. If you use any part of the benefits, CSRA takes it all and will not explain where it is being used. Very costly insurance no matter what plan.
In the change from CSC to CSRA our choices were sharply curtailed and became much more expensive. No explanation was provided.
