    When I worked at CUNY I was allowed no paid sick days. This was before the New York City Sick Leave policy was initiated. I was sick one day and the time was deducted from my pay check.

    For a healthy person, the sick time allowed is perfect. Their sick time policy is fair as well, medical note required for three or more straight sick days.

    Most people cannot even use all their sick time in the year, there is so much given. Also, any rollover AL days get converted into sick days over 50 in a year

    Paid sick days are accrued, but you can take sick days before you accrue them. you will just subtract it when you do accrue it.
