CVS Caremark grants vacation and paid time off.
i never took a vacation.
The best thing about the paid time off was that the vacation days could be accumulated if you decided, like I did, to put off vacation time on the front end
I get 3 weeks paid vacation for less than one year employment, and if I don't take it they just send me a check
2 weeks after the first 6 months(probation) and 2 weeks from there on every year until 5 years with the company. 3 weeks after 5 years with the company.
The amount of time they offer is pretty good - 3 weeks PTO, 4 floating holidays, and paid holidays are still a thing. The strict attendance policy, however, means you aren't allowed to get sick at the last minute (because we can all plan when we get sick, right?) because you will be given high marks on your attendance. Sure, there is a way to get those taken down...if you go to the doctor, pay the $100 fee to see the doctor because remember you have a $4,000 deductible and then fill out literally 30-40 pages requesting it be recognized as sick leave. And they'll most likely lose the paperwork at least once before finally acknowledging it...four months later, after you've already lost out on getting a bonus because bonuses are tied to attendance.
company follow the polic to grant vacation time, but sometimes scheduler cannot find coverage, cvs paid your vacation off, and you have no vacation.
Management was very understanding with time off and vacations. No complaints.
It kind of takes longer as a part time employee to get vacation and paid time off.
120 PTO a year, 40 hours of sick time within the 120
Wasn't given because I was Part time
