Although 3 weeks sounds good on the surface, there are two forced shutdowns during the year making family vacation planning very difficult. This year's Dec. shutdown is 9 days of forced vacation. The summer shutdown was 4. That leaves you with 2 flexible days of vacation. Have to wait until your 8'th year before you get an extra week of flexible vacation. Worst policy I've ever seen.
Very flexible even for new hires and interns. 2 shutdowns in a year.

Pretty average. Mandatory end of year shut-down uses 3-4 days every year. Based on my seniority, I was able to swing an extra week of vacation with my hiring manager on an informal basis.
