Great benefits and flexibility at work. Nice people!
no benefits for students except for occasional free printing access or snacks from events, could do hw on the clock, nothing significant or worthwhile
Generally good, but very traditional benefits package. CalPERS pension, full health, vision and dental. Graduated vacation leave (start with 10 day/2 weeks per year).
Cal Pers is great for those who have been working for a while
Since I was on a contract for a students only position, there was no benefit package. Worth mentioning that the the position I held involved a LOT of grading, and of course I was able to do it at home.
Vacations were great. 3 months in the summer, 1 month in the winter with bank holidays
Great benefits. Better than Los Angeles County which is what my husband had but we chose to use Cal Poly's benefits
Very strong health and retirement benefits.
No health insurance for part time lecturer
Since the job is made only for part time students, there are no benefit packages. Although there a slight possibility to find work as a full time position in a different department with the help of your supervisor and networking with other staff.
