The best benefit you get from here is education. After one year, you are eligible to enroll there to get an associates, bachelors or masters for free. For anyone moving up in the career ladder, a higher degree never hurts so that was the best perk. They do offer multiple medical packages so it does cater to different needs and there is a 401(k) with employer match available as well.
The health insurance benefits are very costly, the dental plan is ok and the vision plan is ok as well.
Health, dental, vision insurance all optional. Not the best, high deductible. Education benefits free school if you work for company full-time 1 year.
With companies cutting everybody's benefits, CCSD still at least provides the important benefits that you need such as medical, dental and vision. Sure the medical could be a little better but I'm happy with my provider and get what I need. The biggest benefit that CCSD offers is the ability to get your degree free of charge after you've been employed one year. To get a free education is outstanding and I'm currently taking advantage of it.
Since, you're working in the education field you get paid holidays, paid sick days, paid vacation, 401k, dental, vision, & more. The only downside is that you can't add anybody on your health benefits package like (your siblings, etc.)
