Benefits included all of what I expected. Insurance fitted my needs and was presented in three options. The also covered vision and dental. My insurance payment was minimal. In addition they had options for life insurance. For the 401K, they would match your contribution.
Benefits package is standard for the industry - nothing special, but covers all the basics.
The benefit package is decent and covers the things that you would expect. Certainly do not expect anything that your friends are getting at other financial, consulting, or tech firms though. One of the most frustrating aspects of the benefits is that you essentially need an MBA to move up in the firm, but Cambridge will not help with it at all.
401k match immediately vests, albeit at not the most competitive percentage. Work-life balance is great. Healthcare plan could be better, more a-la carte with Vision & Dental.
Salaries tend to be higher to slow turnover
Great health insurance
Poor benefits package, the firm does not provide child care accounts and only 10 hours of emergency childcare at Bright Horizons. The 401K Plan is poor, 50% match up to 3%. Expensive health plan premiums.
Great health insurance plans, and matching 401k. Company also offers 4 weeks vacation on top of national holidays off.
Great Package for all full time employees
Pros: Time off, flexible work schedule, child back up care, paternity leave Cons: only contribute 50% match on 401k up to 6%
