There is no matching 401k
the benefits are not very good, there is no 401k match and the health insurance is average with a decent amount out of pocket by the employee
The package checks all the boxes as far as comprehensiveness but is sorely lacking in employer contribution, cost, etc. For instance, the medical plan is comprehensive and through a major provider, but appears to not be subsidized in any way by Cantor. Myself and every colleague was able to get equal or better coverage at a lower cost through their spouce's plans. The 401k has a resonable assortment of funds from which to choose but the company does not offer a match. Vacation is comperable to other larger financial services firms but taking a 2 week vacation, which is mandidated for banks, is unheard of here. There are no gym's on site but they do offer partnerships with local gyms however the employee rate is typically nothing more than the initiation fee waved. They severly limit those who can get/use firm phones or laptops regardless of on call job demands.

There are a few choices, but expensive
It is a very high quality program that offers significant benefits that can be purchased on a cafeteria basis. If you make considerable income, it is very expensive.
current benefit structure is not competitive. need to pay people more money on the way in to make up for employee contributions.
Best: Aetna medical coverage is generally accepted by most doctors in NYC Worst: Very meager and below industry standard benefits package; no 401(k) match
No 401K match, 80 % of the bonus is paid in paper money
Overall the benefits package at Cantor Fitzgerald is not very generous. Health insurance premiums are very high because the company does not cover most of the cost. There is no 401(k) matching either.
