Rewards & Benefits
We believe in rewarding our associates for their talent and contribution to our mission. That's why we offer a total rewards package that includes excellent salaries and premier benefits. All associates share in Capital’s success.
Compensation & Bonuses
Our total rewards approach to compensation is highly competitive when compared to other premier employers and designed to reward you for your contribution to the organization. This includes excellent salaries and eligibility for two annual bonuses.
Health & Life
Health and life benefits are available to you and your family from the day you join us. When possible, we offer several plans, so you can choose one that best fits your needs. In all cases, we offer comprehensive coverage that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
Retirement & Savings
Helping people retire well is core to what we do at Capital, and that effort certainly extends to our associates. Each year, Capital contributes an amount equal to 15% of your total compensation—up to regulatory limits—into a retirement plan. In many locations, you and your family also can invest directly in Capital-managed funds, without paying typical fees and commissions.
Time away from work
We take pride in providing an environment that enables our associates to do their best work. We also understand that it’s important to have time away from the office to relax. All associates begin accruing vacation and sick time immediately upon joining the organization. We offer generous time-away benefits and support your commitments to your family and community.
Competitive pay with other premiere employers including retirement contributions at no cost to the employees and charitable giving fringe benefits.
Great benefits. Day one insurance and wellness incentive. Also two bonus a year and vacation days are separate than personal days. The insurance did increase with high deductibles. Also can be hard to get vacation time during tax season. Flex hours not available.
Retirement savings - CG contributes 15% of total compensation annually. I am in my late forties and have over $1 Million saved for retirement.
Best: retirement plan Worst: 15-25% of your compensation is paid in the form of a bonus based on your individual performance (exempt & exempt equivalent associates); company performance bonus (about 10-15%) also paid annually to all employees; so what's the bad part? Your base salary is very low compared to industry, and CG controls their payroll costs by subjecting your pay to a large portion of bonuses. In total, salary plus bonuses is a nice total number, however, the bonuses are taxed so heavily unfortunately so don't be fooled by the large "total compensation" number. Would much rather have no individual performance bonus but receive that comp as part of my salary throughout the year (no hefty bonus tax). CG likes to also include the 15% retirement contribution in your Total Comp, which you can't access until retirement age & takes 6 years to fully vest. Don't be deceived and make sure you know exactly how much you will actually be taking home every paycheck.
The company provides a great variety of benefits. They paid for a decent portion of my MBA and they have a fantastic retirement package.
Great retirement plan. Good selection on medical. Employee education assistance program is nice too.
The master retirement plan was the best benefit to working at Capital. Having the company give you 15% to put away every year on top of anything you put away.
Generous company contributed Retirement Plan
- Generous 15% employer retirement contributions regardless of any employee contribution - Above industry standard health care coverage - Tuition Assistance and repayment of CFA tests
Good retirement package & vacation hours. Not good tuition & training reimbursement plan. Sick days are enforced & tracked closely. No comp time
