Retirement contribution is laughable- 1.5%. It comes across as uncaring towards staff, and that the hospital is more concerned with its overall budget line. Health benefits were the only decent part of the paltry benefit package that I can think of.
Lack of benefit choices. Expensive for family coverage. Vacation/PTO can be difficult to get because of low staffing.
The PTO is a wonderful benefit that they offer right away. The medical coverage also covers all areas of medical, dental, and vision which is also nice.
