Health insurance basically only covers emergencies. Company does not contribute anything to 401K, it is entirely employee funded.
Doesn't match 401k, high deductible health plans,
Honestly, I get better benefits NOT having or utilizing my insurance. I compared prescription prices and paid less not using the insurance.
The hardest thing is with Obama Care and not decent insurance I had to choose to go without as I cannot afford high deductibles and co-pays after premium charges.
The company puts $200 into the HSA. The deductibles are around $3500 for a single person and $6500 for a family. After the deductible is used, some things are free and other things still cost 10%.
no 401K match for years
They offer additional insurances...ie.. Cancer, accidental, lifelock. Just to name a few. They are one of not many I am sure that offer sick and vacation pay. They also give us floating holidays to take as well.
High deductible health plan keeps employees away from the doctor when sick because the out of pocket expense is to great. 10 days paid vacation from 6 months of employment on. Paid federal holidays and 2 floater holidays. 1 hour of sick accrued for every 30 hours worked.
-Pro: Carey recognizes all Government holidays as well as the Friday after Thanksgiving. Call Center employees have the opportunity to get paid more if they are able to work holidays! -Con: no 401k matching -Con: no stock options -Pro: complete medical/dental coverage offered for full time employees -Pro: HSA contribution seems to be increasing :)
Would like 401K match again
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
