Standard PTO compared to other companies
As a new hire, you earn a vacation day for each month you work, up to the maximum number of vacation days provided by your business unit. If you were hired on or before the 15th of the month, you will earn a full vacation day for that month. You may take vacation days as you earn them. On June 1 following the date of your hire, you will receive your allotted vacation days for use from June 1 through May 31, Cargill’s fiscal year. See your recruiter or hiring manager for more information about your business unit’s vacation day schedule.
You can take vacations long as no one else has off on your shift
They do a good job of getting you enough time off.
PTO policy that is competitive in the market. A 20+ year experienced employee like myself currently earns 30 days of PTO.
Typical vacation times that are set based upon years of service to Cargill.
It's great. And recently they've increased, based in a tier system, how much time you get off.
mostly flexible, takes you 20 years to get 5 weeks
vacation that was offered was great. i started with vacation days. for the most part they were easy to use. during busier times we were not allowed to request time off which seems pretty fair to me
We start out with great benefits, and people are very good at being flexible with when people want to take vacations
