    The 403b match and salary percentage dump is nice, i appreciate the tuition assistance, but there’s not much for raises or promotions in certain departments

    Health insurance was terrible. You can only see a Carle MD, which is quite common with healthcare systems, but it can easily take 3+ months to see any sort of specialist and weeks to see a PCP. They coverage is poor. It is very expensive to get healthcare while working at Carle, even with the PPO plan. PTO is excellent. You get about 17 days off (8-5 jobs) the first 3 years, then it increases to 22 days after year 3. Maternity leave is poor to fair. You get 8-12 wks, but must use your PTO and the rest is unpaid. 403B matching is good.

    Overall, the benefits are pretty good. Full-time employees start off with 17 PTO days a year, which increases to 22 days after 3 years of service, and increases further for various milestones. Carle offers a sick-bank; but you have to be sick for more than 3 days to start using it; so most sick days will count towards your PTO. Carle offers two health insurance plans: a PPO and a High-Deductible plan. The bi-weekly premiums aren't too expensive and in line with other major employers that I've worked for in the past. The annual out-of-pocket maximums are kind of high. The company offers a 401k. They will match 2% after you have one year of service; and in addition, they contribute a 5% annual bonus to your 401k. All contributions are immediately vested. Carle offers other standard benefits, such as dental insurance, vision insurance, flex spending accounts, etc.

    Good vacation accrument policy. Easy to use time off. Only single pool of PTO to use for vacations and illness.

    They offer Health Insurance through Health Alliance (which they own), but the rates are still high for being an employee.

    Insurance. The family plan caps off at 163 a paycheck. I was able to insure myself, husband and our three children for that price. You immediatley accrue paid leave upon starting but can't use it for three months.
