Good benefits package in my experience
Great health benefits, so so 401K matching
Best Health Insurance ever. 3 weeks vacation (accrued), one week sick, one floater.
Pros: Good pay, bonus plan, stock. Insurance is not good but company reimburses up to $4000 annually. Andover is a nice town 30 miles from Boston, this means shorter commute, low living cost and house price. The company makes good CMTS, the R&D team is fast paced and always under pressure, good chance of promotion if you work hard enough. Job security is good as they are short of manpower. Senior management is clear about the position of the company and where it should go. Casa is well funded and went public recently. Cons: working hour is not flexible. You don't get laptop meaning wfh is impossible. I was told on the first day that the CEO himself doesn't quite believe in wfh. CMTS and cable TV is a niche and saturated market, though Casa outperforms its competitors, the market is not growing, future profitibility is unknown. Programming in C is not fun, so are the projects. Engineering management is behind the growth of revenue, lack of develoment process and documentation
very good benefits for this size of Company, free lunch every Friday, good PTO and sick time, good national holidays, 401k match is so-so. Good end year bonus.
No complaints about the benefits package. Very comprehensive. I like the Tuition Assistance Program!
health care is very good
Health insurance coverage is very good. Casa covers 100 % of any of the plans deductible, and handles it all behind the scenes. They make it very easy.
good incentive at the end of the year
Good benefits health care, dental, 401k, company stock and paid holidays. Free lunch on Fridays for andover employees.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
