Casey's has greatly improved since I first worked there. Their benefits have greatly improved, and offer all types of insurance for full and part time employees.

Pros: FT gets 40hrs of paid vacation after 6 months of being FT. After 1yr, you get an additional 40hrs plus 40hrs of sick time. 40hrs of your vacation time rolls over into the next year. 401k is matched at 6%. Health, dental, vision, AD&D and FSA are all offered. Altogether with the high plan I pay about $120 a paycheck. 50% employee discount on prepared food while you’re on shift. Bonus rewards points and offers every now and then for team members. Employee assistance program with 24/7 crisis counselors. Also offers free drug and alcohol treatment, if needed. Instead of punishing someone by immediate termination. Cons: PT don’t receive as many benefits. PT is contingent on how your onboarding paperwork is filled out. Management is encouraged to hire everyone as part time. FT/PT is not contingent on how many hours are actually worked, so a lot of people get conned out of their benefits. Management team receives the same benefits as employees, I believe you should receive all your vacation in 6mo when you’re in management. If you don’t sign up for insurance within 60days, you’re locked out until open enrollment and the only way to fix it is to quit and get rehired. Therefore losing your time leading up to your vacation hours. PT receives flex time, not sick time or vacation. No employee discount when you are off the clock or going home.

Paid parental leave, fantastic daycare on site. For non parents benefits are pretty average . Vacation starts at 2 weeks, 3 after a year but then no more until 10 years maxing out at 4 weeks. 6% matching in 401k.
