I did not personally take part in any benefits like health insurance. The only thing I did take advantage of was the paid jury duty leave (up to 40 hours per year)
They offer health insurance, sick time, and vacation time after you've been there for a year. What they don't tell you is that the insurance coverage is so terrible that it does not qualify under the recent insurance laws.
Insurance does nothing. There are barely any doctors that are in your plan and don't plan on them paying 80% they pay 20% maybe. Sometimes they tell you they'll cover up to $amount and change when you actually go in and have whatever you need done. There are no guarantees they say. And its very expensive in the end since the coverage is no good.
The company offers health, dental, vision, ad&d after 90 days. After 1 year, employees receive 1 week sick & 1 week vacation as well as 401k with a company match. 3-4 wage increases within the first year.
High cost, most likely due to the small stature of the company. They are a very small fish in a VERY LARGE pond.

The benefits at the Cash Store were OK. The dental package didn't cover much and the health insurance was not well known. The vacation is good 1 week=1 year 2 weeks=2 years 3 weeks=3+ years. Every major holiday you get paid 8 hours for that day off.
The benefits are horrible, they do not cover much, you end up paying alot out of pocket still.
Health insurance and mileage reimbursement is very good. You get paid holidays, but store managers work 6 days a week. Very little time to have a life.
The health insurance package is awful. You have to pay out of pocket too much, and prescriptions are outrageous. Also the price to add family members, no matter 1 or 100, is the same, and it's a little over 500.00 PER PAYCHECK. NOT PER MONTH, PER PAYCHECK..... That's just ridiculous....
