The benefits package is the best in the area, but I dont need it because I am on my mothers insurance.
They're paid time off and sick leave are horrible. You only get about 2 days of personal time per year.
Retirement plan offered, but can opt out. Health insurance seems good, never had to use it really.... Discount at local gym was great... amazing gym... Used to have christmas bonuses but don't do that anymore... Get christmas gift card to local Wegman's grocery store. As an aide, time off will be two days a week usually, perhaps more if working 12 hour shifts. Difficult to get more than 2 days off in a row. Sometimes can't get 2 days in a row, can be frustrating. Hospital often to understaffed for you to use vacation time. Have to know when you want to take vacation 4 months in advance at least, and be on good terms with management if you want to get it...
Good health care although quite expensive employee contribution. Dental is a joke - what you pay in is usually the same as what you would pay for 2 check ups per years. Lousy tuition assistance - cannot afford to take a class at either of the two colleges in the same town.
Health insurance premiums good compared to some other companies. Dental and vision coverage very limited which results in large out of pocket expenses for the employee.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
