    Paid time off sick and vacation is 2 weeks (combined) you get a volunteer day, a two floating holidays a well. You get an extra week of vacation time after 2 years and goes up again after that.

    Vacation is on an accrual basis. I'm not expecting them to offer unlimited vacation like some tech companies, but Not getting access to all 10 of your first year vacation days for 12 months is ridiculous. Not competitive.

    We know that time away from work is critical to achieving balance in life. Cengage offers several different types of paid time off. While vacation does accrue monthly, Cengage offers up to 5 days of vacation to be "advanced" with manager approval. We find this feature really helps our new hires as they begin accruing during their first year with the Company. We also offer floating holidays and sick days, which are provided up front in most states we do business.
