What We Offer:
Insurance is only available to full time employees that make over 30hrs consistently for six(?) months.
Low wages, no time off or vacation accrual, high out of pocket costs for inadequate health coverage.
It is impossible to get clear information about the benefits, how to apply, what is available, any information is going to take months of networking to get a hold of. I am sure they exist though, somewhere.
As a part time employee the only benefits you get is 3 days sick time. Even if you use these though, you have to find someone to cover your shifts. If you can't find someone to cover, the session is canceled. The manager will rarely try to help you find coverage. CARD also offers ABA Training but their training but if you want to become a Registered Behavioral Therapist they will not help you with this. They only sponsor CARD specific training and if you go high enough they'll also sponsor a masters degree. It should be noted that ABA Therapist training is comprised of watching videos, taking small quizzes, and doing role play exercises for 2 weeks. After this you have to do a certain amount of field practice with other therapists but I wasn't told what was expected of me until the end and once I was told I only had a could of practice sessions left. The training therapists are great at debriefing and giving feedback but they have a list to check your progress that trainees are seemingly not allowed to see. At the end you have a final evaluation and if you pass you get a schedule.
Accrue sick leave throughout year but only allowed to use up to 24 hours total of sick time. Only qualify for health benefits if you work 35 hours consistently for a period of time
401k, dental, vision and health for a low price but its extremely expensive when you add your family members
sick time is accrued but only able to use 24 hours a year. You need to know company policy for yourself forwards and backwards when it comes to sick time, RTFO, and paid days off. As it is sometimes a back and forth headache to use even sick time (unethical). They bully you into thinking you can't use your time off.
Good benefits and opportunities for bonuses.
health insurance was offered. I believe it was United Healthcare. For a single individual, I remember the most basic plan being around 65 every two weeks(deducted from paycheck). Sick time that accumulates the more hours you work. Worked on Thanksgiving and Christmas. No PTO.
There is no actual benefits package. They just tell you there is and make it impossible to attain said benefits package.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
