Best: flexible hours and work from home option; Worst: must use accrued sick leave for paid time off after having or adopting a child.
Getting hired full time need to fix the system.
3 weeks vacation, 2 weeks sick leave, flexible work schedules, telework, pension, 401k (TSP) matching, gym on campus, training funds, family health insurance that you can keep even after you retire
Overall good. Sometimes health plans can be expensive as compared to state health department. Thrift saving plan is great.
outstanding across the board - health insurance for life after retire at reduced cost flexibility in many jobs to telecommute part time
Best: health insurance, retirement plan
Great health insurance, but little time is allowed for vacation/sick time (two weeks each). Very strict on the usage of time off, cannot request unpaid time off easily unless the supervisor approves it.
Benefits package is same from all federal employees. CDC is no different from any other federal agency. There are no "CDC" specific benefits. Check OPM.gov to check benefits.
everything was good I can not choose
health insurance, 401K, 2 weeks vacation
