Too Much expensive family insurance package

Report

Central Ohio Primary Care response

Thank you for your comment. While I'm not sure how long you have been an employee with COPC, we did introduce a new benefit plan at open enrollment last year with a much reduced monthly premium for family coverage. Our benefits department would be happy to talk with you about your options at open enrollment time this year. Additionally, we will continue to look for ways to decrease benefit costs for our employees.

Family premium is too high

Report

Central Ohio Primary Care response

Thank you for your review. We have worked diligently over the last two years to decrease the cost of our health benefits and were able to offer a reduced rate this year for our employees. If you have a specific concern, HR would be happy to talk with you to explain the various plan options for you to consider at the next open enrollment. In addition, we will continue to look for ways to reduce premiums for our employees as we go into negotiations with our carriers.

Increase offerings to remain competitive

Report

Central Ohio Primary Care response

We have enhanced and added a lot of new benefits over the past two years to include improved PTO, additional holidays, bereavement days, addition of jury duty pay and free DoorDash Dash Pass and Identity Theft protection. If there are other offerings you would like us to consider, we would be happy to do so. Please contact us at HumanResources@COPCP.com. Thank you!

Dental insurance is pretty great, but could get pretty pricey if you have a lot of children that need some dental work, but that could be said about a lot of employer plans.

The premiums are the highest I've ever paid, working for physicians in a health care industry you would think the plan would be a little more appealing - especially since the pay for their workers is among the lowest in the industry.

Not very good at all, especially when working for a group of doctors. Unaffordable if you have a family. Not worth purchasing.
