Cerner offers a 401(k) plan for eligible employees with some company match.
6% match, vested, 401k matched with company stock
Cerner matches 33% of what the employee contributes with Cerner stock. Industry standards are 50% to 100%. Cerner stock has been FLAT for the LAST FIVE YEARS. Example = Employee invests 6% in the 401K, the company matches 1.98% (not even 2%) which is not very good for a large company. An additional 2% may be added by Cerner "if fiscal goals are met." Being forced to hold the stock for 3 years was an awful rule that ended recently.
not enough options and takes too long to vest
Their 401k package is okay type.
Cerner provides solid health insurance plans. It has the in house gym/clinic and medicine store which helps greatly. It doesnt give annual bonus.
Match is not that great. We did not get a secondary match either.
the best and the worst thing about the cerner corporation 401k plan is that you can invest with discounted company stocks
equal matching up to 3%
could be better for new hire
I think it's great in it's current form.
