Since employer can only take vacation when school in out of session more time needs to be added to enhance quality time for staff
Although they advertise that they provide four weeks of vacation, they determine when you have the time off and you must work the weekend before a vacation begins. The sick/personal time provided can only be used a day at a time because they will not provide someone to cover your courses if you are away from the classroom, so it isn't very helpful or valuable. If you must travel for work or a conference you are still required to complete the same amount of work each day as if you didn't have other obligations. They talk a lot about Chamberlain Care and work-life balance, but there is more talk and less action on administration's part.
