Change.org has an unlimited vacation policy that people are actually encouraged to use. There used to be a 5 week PTO policy, which was switched to unlimited for financial reasons, but there's still a culture that encourages people to take vacations and does not punish or shame people for doing so.
The leadership & HR team care deeply about their employees and make sure to take care of us. Excellent health benefits, 401k, sick time policy / work-life balance and office lunch meals offered which was one of my favorite ways to build stronger relationships with my colleagues. Extremely generous benefits for new moms and dads. Managers put a lot of trust in their employees and did not micro-manage which was a huge benefit in my eyes. The values ambassador program is an awesome way to honor employees who embody one of the core values and are generally offered the chance to travel & visit one of the other Change.org offices worldwide.
Pros: Home work, work environment & team collaboration
Amazing health insurance, flexible work from home/hours policy, dog-friendly offices, amazing parental leave policy!!!
Change.org takes employee health and well being super seriously. We have 25 vacation days per year, 18 weeks of parental leave, a flexible work from home policy, dog friendly offices, and incredible benefit plans.
No 401k matching, but that's standard at a startup. Fully paid dental, medical, vision for the employee. That was excellent.
Pros: Office: Fully stocked kitchen with everything you can imagine, catered dinners, massages, game room, nap room, open and comfortable work space. Benefits: generous Cons: none!
Great overall benefits package and the parental leave policy is amazing. Eventually would like to see a 401K match.
5 weeks paid vacation. But can be hard to schedule them with the work pressure, especially for 2+ weeks in a row
Amazing group of people in engineering, political organizing and sales. Great social justice platform to be a part of. But CEO drives culture which has some CONS.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
