Charles River really takes care of their own, excellent medical/dental, 401k employer contribution not limited to match, excellent additional perks in bonuses, profit sharing, etc.
Best: flexible holidays, health care Worst: No 401K matching, questionable benefit of ESOP matching plan, only three weeks vacation for the first five years
Nice benefits for folks just starting a career, including annual contributions to your 401k without an employee contribution requirement. As an employee owned company they offer shares in the company’s value which is cool. Healthcare is just okay but they have a great benefit if you can get on a spouses plan of paying you out for not being on their plan each year. They used to have volunteer hours but they quietly eliminated them which was disappointing.
401k matching is fantastic, the best I have seen or heard of. Other benefits are top notch as well.
