Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools provided excellent family healthcare benefits that covered medical, dental, and vision. They also have great employee discounts to stores and amusement parks around the area.
High deductibles and excluded coverage for all transgender care .
It is the NC State Health Plan, which is very inexpensive if you are the only one on the plan. When you add your family, the costs skyrocket. The coverage isn't terrible, especially if you are healthy. But if you have something happen (i.e. surgery, birth, etc.), the out-of-pocket costs can get burdensome.

The cost of my monthly premium is fair and the coverage is great. Enrollment is easy! A benefits counselor takes you through everything in 15 minutes. Cons- costs with a spouse or kids is high.
Not many options to choose from with the medical insurance.
CMS does a good job at offering pretty much any kind of benefit you could want. They do not offer 401k assistance openly. It was very difficult to get in contact with anyone to help me set one up.
