“The benefits are crappy. Specialist appointments can be up to $65 (without insurance I was paying $80 so not much savings there) for each visit...”

  • Vacation & Paid Time Off  (12 comments)

“Average for the teaching profession. People were encouraged to take vacations and days off to coincide with school holidays.”

  • Sick Days  (8 comments)

“I don't believe we are given any. I have not been told.”

Insurance is expensive for such a large company and benefits are not good.

HORRIBLE!!! The cost for medical is too high and the high deductible insurance is a killer. Teachers are only offered 84 PTO hours that accumulate over the whole school year, so 8 hours is not even usable when we are in session. This is not comparable to what other schools offer in our area.

401K match provided by the company is low.

Cigna health insurance after 60 days of employment. Only two plans available, both with high deductibles. Freedom to choose a lot of your own doctors though.

Whilel it is very small, they do have matching for their 401K which many companies don't anymore
