opportunity to reduce employee cost for medical insurance
Great health insurance with low co-pay and deductible.
It offers good benefits package.
The benefits package are pretty standard but are on the high side in terms of cost. For a company being in healthcare, I would have expected better health insurance options and premiums.
health insurance has a high deductible.
The PTO is probably the best benefit here, but that is only comparing it to other American companies. It’s still not great. The medical benefits are not good. The “free” option has an outrageous deductible and so your basically have catastrophic coverage only. If you have a family and pay top-dollar for the premium coverage (the only non HSA plan), it still has a high deductible, and I have heard nightmare scenarios regarding Chen forcing spouses off the plan if that spouse’s employee offers ANY insurance coverage, even if somehow it is worse than Chen’s. The coverage should try to emulate what Chen tries to provide its patients. This is not it. Dental is ok, but again, not great. Vision is not worth the cost in today’s atmosphere with low cost providers available without insurance. The 401k matches 50% of up to 6% of salary contribution (which is just ok, not great) and has a 2 year vesting period (not good).
They are goo but wish they contributed more.
The insurance is awesome. 401k they match up to 20% i think, which is great. They say that they offer incentives for patient referrals but, I have referred over 6 patients and still have not gotten paid.
The best thing about the insurance is that it is inexpensive as the company pays most of it. They also match 401K contributions.
the best is the pay
