New employees are eligible on the first day of employment for health insurance.
When i worked at CHK, the plan would match up to 15% of your salary. The match vested 25% per year.
Health savings plan is good. Plans are fairly cheap and includes dental and vision.
Pro - Many services were offered very close to the campus. Very nice wellness program encouraging emplyee participation Con - family deductables seemed high,
Cheap (<$25 month) for single or those with no dependents.
Rates were very competitive. Coverage could be a little spotty, however. $25 per paycheck for tobacco users.
It covered a lot of prescription drugs
It's a great deal. CHK has great benefits.
The premiums can be high but compared to individual accounts they are slightly cheaper. Coverage is pretty good for everything except vision. There is an on-campus medical center with a $5 co-pay.
