This privilege came and went with the whim of the owner, since each store is owned and operated independently.
The employee discount is 20%.
It was a high discount.
The best thing about the employee discount is that you could basically get a whole basic meal with the discount. ($7.50 worth of free food for employee break) But the worst thing about it is that if you want to eat something relatively healthy off of the menu, you cannot do it with less than $8... The other good thing is that you get 50% off if you dine in not during your work hours. The worst part is that if you don't dine in, you don't get any kind of discount.
If you're a team member you get 50% off, if you're a supervisor or higher it's free!
It was 6$/shift off of one purchase which is enough to eat a small meal reasonable. But drinks were infinitely free so that was nice.
Compared to other companies, the discount was a bit ridiculous. Only 10% for the location I worked at, which was not close to home. And the employee handbook threatened termination for sharing food with family members or friends.
The employee discount is great. When you are on you're shift, if you work more than 5 hours you get a free meal. When you come to the restaurant when you're not working you get a 25% percent discount.
FREE FOOD with certain managers and at least a 50% discount which is awesome
The employee discount I received was 50% off.
