Great benefits package, no complaints
One of the best benefits is the price I pay for myself and my kids for insurance. I also enjoy earning time off based on the hours I work. The time adds up fairly quickly so I always feel like I can take a day off when needed and it is covered by my PTO.
Vacation is by far the best. Health Insurance seems reasonable.
Children's Mercy offers employees good benefits at reasonable prices (insurance, etc.). We don't get holidays off, but we can use PTO to take off (office staff). We also receive extra PTO to off-set the no given holidays.
Benefits are excellent. 403b after 2 years of working. Pto accrues quickly, although you earn a certain number of hours per paycheck and when you first start you start with a balance of 0hours of paid time. Good healthcare coverage including medical, optical, and dental. They have recently added pet insurance which many companies do not offer
Children's Mercy Hospital provides comprehensive benefits including the following: health insurance, retirement plan with matching, tuition reimbursement, and other discounts for services.
You have to take PTO if you want a holiday off... this applies to non-clinical positions. There should be two systems, not one cookie cutter.
Very inclusive of any kind of insurance you would want to purchase: cancer, long term illness, etc. Offered generous health insurance package and 401k.
Pretty excellent health insurance, as well as incentives to use services provided by hospital.
I think the health insurance is a bit steep, to be totally honest. Also as someone without children, the benefits are a bit limited compared to someone who has children and uses CMH for their healthcare. The Wellness Center is a nice convenience, but only because I live close by. Wish they had a work out facility for employees!
