“The company offers a moderate cost option that has a high deductible, high out of pocket cap, and low annual benefits cap. Their package is so bad that my spouse is paying the expensive supplement with their employer to keep me on their insurance. ”
“Employee matching after 1 year of service with the company. received great benefit”
“Accrual is very slow— a few hours every pay period, then split into sick and leave time, with complex rules for sick time, such as taking it in 4 hour blocks (because I guess they’ve never had an office visit that only causes you to miss 3 hours of work). Federal holidays are automatically deducted from your leave time, even if your client gives you the option of working,”
Ciber offers competitive and comprehensive health benefits with eye coverage for the entire family. The worst part is that I wish is was slightly less out of pocket expense.
No perks given by ciber
This is a weak benefits package that does the bare minimum for employees. The 401k match is minimal. PTO accrual is very slow and you are forced to use it on holidays (even if your client is open that day and you prefer to work). Moderate cost/low coverage health insurance. No charitable contribution match, education benefit, commuter benefit, nothing like that. No cross training, no career advancement, also no raises. This is a company that wants to do as little as possible for the employees without actually doing nothing.
health, dental and vision insurance as well as 401K available. Paid vacation time as well.
- health package is good - vacation/holiday's could use updating
1. They filed for bankruptcy due to which there was no hike for over 2 years. 2. Process to request for a hike is slow as there are multiple levels of decision makers involved.
PTO amounts standard, healthcare was OK
The benes are great, best part of working at Ciber!
Insurance is costly, decent vacations package, bonus for referrals are good
Best thing is the $20 minimum pay for most and the worst is that no one gets raises and the insurance is expensive and horrible.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
