Healthcare benefits are lousy; high deductible and out of pocket. Many prescriptions (with no equivalent) are not on formulary.
You have to be with the company for six years in order to be vested in the 401k plan. You have to wait for two years to be vested for 20%. There are many companies that offer immediate vesting for their employees. In addition, the company match is very low and not very competitive.
Starting in 2019, Cielo is extending their parental leave to include paid leave for paternity and adoption. As someone in the adoption process, I am extremely excited about this. Every little bit helps when you're trying to save money for such a major expense.
PTO plan is great. The High Deductible plan premiums are high and after you meet your deductible (which is high and requires you to pay $6000 + for family) you still have to meet an out of pocket max which requires you to pay a 20% co pay.
Horrible company, horrible benefits, horrible culture, horrible business to work for.
Best - perksatwork.com / Medical, vision, dental / 401K 3% match Worst - high copays, increased policy
The HR representative didn’t have an idea of how to do the benefit orientation.
Work life balance, ok PTO - 15 days starting then 20 at 2 years and 25 at 5 years. They could look at the cost of insurance, it was a little high for the size company they are.
Good vaca package for the employees.
Bare minimum / poor plans
