The deductible is too high. It is not realistic to expect someone to pay $1600 before insurance kicks in.
The benefits are great, just expensive.
High deductibles, low copays, limited provider network if you are outside core market area. Much better medical coverage offered to employees by competitors.
Company offers vision and dental, but the medical plans are not great.

The health insurance is very expensive and your out of pocket costs are high. You would think working for a health and dental insurance company that the benefits would be better, but the health insurance is expensive, high deductible, high out of pocket costs.
Deductible is a bit high but the out of pocket match for the year isn’t much higher then the deductible so once you reach that Cigna pays 100%. I have met the out of pocket max for the year and it’s March from 1 ER visit and outpatient surgery.
HDHP with either HRA or HSA options.
The insurance bbenefits are reasonable. They are not particularly expensive and the networks are sizable. All plans are offered with expected guidelines and expected costs. Assistance personal are available to explain benefits.
