Ok, high deductible plan. Fair plan but could be better

StarStarStarStarStar Former Customer Service Advocate in Visalia, California

The deductible is too high. It is not realistic to expect someone to pay $1600 before insurance kicks in.

The benefits are great, just expensive.

StarStarStarStarStar Current Employee in Bloomfield, Connecticut

High deductibles, low copays, limited provider network if you are outside core market area. Much better medical coverage offered to employees by competitors.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Business Analyst in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Company offers vision and dental, but the medical plans are not great.

Never had a worse insurance plan

  • Jun 27, 2018
StarStarStarStarStar Current Supervisor in Plano, Texas

Only high deductible Plans marking it hard for the average person to afford care

  • May 16, 2018
StarStarStarStarStar Current Customer Service Representative in Denison, Texas

The health insurance is very expensive and your out of pocket costs are high. You would think working for a health and dental insurance company that the benefits would be better, but the health insurance is expensive, high deductible, high out of pocket costs.

StarStarStarStarStar Current RN Case Manager in Jacksonville, Florida

Deductible is a bit high but the out of pocket match for the year isn’t much higher then the deductible so once you reach that Cigna pays 100%. I have met the out of pocket max for the year and it’s March from 1 ER visit and outpatient surgery.
