CCHMC has a fully funded retirement plan!
Cincinnati Children's has a great selection of comprehensive health and benefits options as well as incentive plans making healthy decisions.
Love the pension, almost unheard of this day and age. 403 B, dental medical
3 options for medical, life insurance is covered at no cost, holidays, sick days and vacation days are accrued throughout the year
Children’s offers an competitive benefit package.
Non-clinical position employees feel 'disposable' - some departments very political. Didn't seem to want to hire from within or get feedback about procedures, but this is a wonderful hospital and can have a great atmosphere.
Has a good benefits package.
The best thing about the benefits package is the pension. Not many companies offer a pension. In addition to the pension, health care benefits are reasonable (though the employee-associated cost is increasing). Additionally, CCHMC has provided raises each year (even during the recession), which is not always the case at other companies. The worst thing is relative salary. CCHMC bases salary on an average pay per position. So, regardless of your performance, the longer you have worked at this company, the lower the percent increase each year.
good health insurance and flexible PTO, retirement plan is not that great (no match)
I don't receive the benefits. However the PTO sucks, it's all lumped in one pot.
