    The only thing I know about the benefit package in the company is that they are offering good deal of health insurance. For 401k and other stuff I didn't look into it.

    When the company does really well, we'll often get a special (expensive) gift around Christmas. There's also a monthly LIVE concert on the patio, or within walking distance on the popular 6th street.

    Good amount of time off offered from the start, flexible healthcare options including HSA options. Easy on-boarding process and excellent perks on-site including the Friday Happy Hours.

    The best thing about Cirrus is the work-life balance and the fun activities. The health insurance premium is one of the lowest in industry. Health benefits are in line with others, but free generic maintenance drugs is nice.

    Family care could be better. within the last year the maternity leave added 2 weeks of full pay on top of the standard 2/3rds pay for 6 weeks; and the paternity leave increase from 0 to 2 weeks. It's a definite improvement from before but still feel like women are being punished with decreased paid leave for having kids. There is a Women's initiative ongoing to try to hire more young women in the company, but there really should be more focus on trying to develop and keep the ones Cirrus has.

    Thanks for the review! Cirrus Logic has recently increased paid time off for new moms and dads, as the reviewer has noted. We are somewhat puzzled though by the comment about “decreased paid leave,” when in fact the company has not reduced or rescinded benefits of any kind. The company’s benefits exceed industry benchmarks, with a flexible work environment and a generous Personal Time Off (PTO) program that accrues up to 480 hours, allowing moms and dads to supplement their leave to spend additional time with their new baby.
     
    Overall, we take great pride in our family friendly culture, from welcoming newborns with a gift bag of goodies, all the way  to events and special programs for small children through young adults, to include such things as our one-of-a-kind Cirrus Logic Kids Club activities for kids of all ages, annual family picnic at Schlitterbahn, Halloween event at the Austin Zoo, family day at the Thinkery (Austin), our famous Kids Holiday Party and the Austin Trail of Lights family night, just to highlight a few of our family friendly events. And we’re always looking at new programs and policies to continue to make this a great place to work for employees with families.
