Good purchase plan, stock is purchased at a 15% discount allowing for immediate returns once purchased

They price on the *last* day of the plan. This only works if the stock is going *down,* if it's going up, you might be better off buying on the open market. You lose the 15% discount, but you can anticipate a rise, and at least you can choose the time you buy. Most tech companies pick the lower of the first day and the last day, far more generous to employees.

I guess it's good you can buy at a discount, but at this point why would you want to buy Citrix Stock ?

15% discount up to 10% of your salary. Salary contributions are made throughout the year and put in a NON-interest bearing account. You can sell your employee shares immediately (most people do). When you factor in capital gains, etc...its not that great a program. Better if they gave stock options or restricted stock units.
