Great Healthcare package (could be in jeopardy with new politics). Pay, vacation accrual, sick leave accrual etc... are right in line with other municipalities (very good). We don't pay into Social Security and instead, those contributions go into a trust fund that is doing (has done) very well.
The retirement package is great. PERS 2 is far better than Social Security. Their 401k (MEBT) matching is awesome as well and is doesn't stop there. They also offer the state's deferred tax saving program.

very supportive and encompassing benefits - well above the general market. Vision, Dental, Medical; MEBT; PERS; great vacation and time off policy; strong base for employee wellness. HR department is on top of all market changes and helps guide the City in the right direction.
Health benefits with Premera may be changing soon because it's a Cadillac plan. Excellent plan. Pension is paid for from paychecks, but there is one!. 401k match is fully vested after 10 years, which is too slow.
