Very low health insurance costs for great coverage
Salary benefits are okay. Hourly are great. Benefits were better a handful of years ago. Having a pension was nice.
Best - Options offered for salaried employees Worst - Hourly had their benefits paid for while salary had to premiums.
They have an excellent benefit package.
Excellent retirement and they match up to 6 percent on 401k. Great health care!
I just wish they had a matching 401k
Pros: Merit Bonus, 401k, and paid vacation (2 wks to start; once you hit 5 is +1 wk), wellness program Cons: high ded/premiums (HSA/PPO) plans - but can't really get around it with the current health care standards so Iunderstand that, 401k - vested after 3yrs of service; lots of vacation was being denied due to current situation.
Fantastic medical. Decent dental. Vision could be a bit better but it's better than nothing.
All of Cliffs benefits I have found far superior than other Fortune 500 companies.
