It’s unlikely you’ll find a more positive and passionate work environment than Cloudera. We offer a generous rest and relaxation policy, in addition to 12 paid holidays. We also offer comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) investment accounts, and a gym subsidy. You’ll also have your preference of Mac or PC notebook, plus the opportunity to work from home on Wednesdays. Of course, these are just a few of the things that make working at Cloudera so great.
Their health plan is really good.
HQ gets all the perks, if you are in a remote site you get nothing. No 401k matching or any other competing benefits from similar companies.
No 401K employer contribution. So the base pay is effectively lesser.
Company passion for what they are doing.
Best is lunch provided and some credits for phone service and gym fees. Worst is fake bonus program, which is included in your offer but rarely paid, no 401K match. They have a day to work from home but most times you have to come in anyways.
There was always free lunch and snacks, which was probably the best thing about Cloudera. Basic health insurance coverage. There was no 401k matching.
Good overall benefits and work from home allowed.
Unlimited vacation policy is in line with Silicon Valley and appreciated. Health benefits are standard. Improvements would be to have chiropractic services covered and I don't mean by FSA and matching 401k.
Overall very competitive benefits. Would like to see a better 401K. Vacation policy is great, hard to use but great :)
Company match for 401k not offered yet
