Employer Summary

Code and Theory has a flexible vacation policy that does not put a defined limit on the amount of paid time off an employee takes in a year as long as they are responsible and accountable to their work. Employees need time to rest and enjoy themselves outside work, and putting a cap on this important time doesn’t help our effort to achieve high levels of employee satisfaction and productivity. This policy is based on mutual trust between Code and Theory and our employees. It gives employees opportunities to work or take time off as they see fit, as long as they keep fulfilling their duties.

Sick leave is included within this time off policy, but this policy doesn’t interfere with legally established leaves like parental leave under the FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act).

    You either have to come in to work sick or sacrifice a vacation. Or you have to buy more days.

    Plenty of vacation but will be met with resistance when applying for it. Lot's of guilt if you aren't a martyr.
