Quality of life is part of the package deal. When you work at Coffman Engineers, you work for a company that genuinely cares about you. We take pride in helping employees grow personally and professionally.
Out of pocket medical costs are quite high.
401K options seem to be pretty good. Comp time is awesome. High deductable health plan can be troublesome if you haven't budgeted for it.
We have a pretty high deductible on the medical plan (HSA) but Coffman does give us quite a bit of money to help offset expenses. We have an awesome new paid parental leave policy. Generally, Coffman's benefits are excellent.
It's available the first full month of employment and the company offers a lot.
Health insurance is insanely expensive compared to other places I have worked in the past.
Best - 401K match, paid overtime even for engineers and professional staff, combined vacation & sick leave (PTO), PTO based on both years of service and age, employee health care premium paid 100%, Worst - health care premiums for dependents have increased substantially in recent years, high deductible
Good coverage but the deductible is super high and you are forced to pay for it.
Cost is going up at alarming rate.
Good: 401K Not so good: Health Care
The 401k program is great. The medical benefits are, I believe, better than most, but still only average compared to what I would expect. The Dental benefits are pretty much useless except for regular cleanings.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
