For a company of our size, we are getting the best benefits.
Decent but not that great.
401k was very very acceptable.
The company pays money into HSA account

Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?
Awesome wonderful great amazing fantastic
Solid PTO, 401k, healthcare etc
Unlimited vacation and people do actually take advantage of it. 1 month paid maternity leave, which while not great is better than the nothing you may find at many startups or small companies. No 401k matching. Health insurance is decent.
Just an update on this for those considering joining - we now offer 19 weeks of paid maternity leave for birth mothers. - Kendall Collier, VP of People
CognitiveScale is very good about giving its employees benefits; there are typically no set amount of vacation days and lunch is catered every day, so there is generally a lot of flexibility with this job.
free lunch! free flu shots! overall benefits are pretty good -- but it is perhaps to make up for the lack of work-life balance that is expected
The benefits package is better than most companies this age/size and getting better all the time.
