Got a free ice cream every shift worked and a discount when visiting. Also made pretty good tips and if it was just me and the manager than I got all the tips.
There was no benefits package. I was paid $9 an hour and tips. I got a few days off by calling ahead.
Vacation and time off are easily negotiable.
You don't get breaks and you also get free ice cream.
You have flexibility with your schedule and discounts for the ice-cream, shakes, etc.
Honestly the benefits were good, but after hearing that it can very location to location, my location was simply "okay". Most places got free ice cream where as my location got %50 discount on the normal 3 sizes but merely %10 on the "larger" items, i.e. cakes, to go ice creams and the larger sized ice creams.
Flexible schedules, it's easy to get time off, free ice cream after every shift.
It was great! I loved it so so so so so much! Yum!
Best thing about working at Coldstone Creamery was the co-workers. Everybody got along very well and it felt like you were working with your best friends, not just random co-workers. The overall atmosphere was very friendly and like a family.
I think there is half time pay for over time so when you work over 40 hrs you get paid half time wich is yours hour salary plus of half of it
