The training is on going as you continue with Colonial. A great company to continue development. I was able to communicate with my direct support to obtain hands on training if I desired.
Best is that you are not alone and it is immediate in the field training. Worst is that you are still 1099 and should not expect a paycheck for the first 5 weeks.
The Territory Instructor is fully available, as is all the staff on the producer support line, not to mention all the staff at headquarters, who are available via that line, or email.
There was no training, hardest part was studying for the life/health insurance test.
Training for the most part is informal, the real learning is hands-on.
You may need to drive this but my experience so far has been positive. I attend a couple trainings/certifications a year which the company pays for me to attend.
Very regular professional development opportunities
job training is constant, and paid travel
